FormX, an AI-native residential construction platform, has raised a $12.5 million Seed round led by Grove Ventures, with participation from Poalim Equity, At:inc, and Script Capital. The funding will support product development, expand the company’s engineering capabilities, and help scale its technology across California.
Residential construction is one of the world’s largest industries, yet much of the process still relies on fragmented workflows, disconnected software, and manual coordination. Gal Rozensweig, Founder and CEO of FormX, has described residential construction as “one of the last major industries” not yet fundamentally transformed by technology. That framing matters because it locates the opportunity in the process rather than in the building itself, which is the assumption FormX’s product is built on.
FormX is building an AI-native platform that connects architecture, engineering, permitting, procurement, and construction into a single intelligent workflow. Rather than standardizing homes, FormX standardizes the process behind them, allowing each project to remain fully customized while automating design, engineering, planning, and coordination.
The platform is already deployed across residential projects in the San Francisco Bay Area and is now scaling to support a growing pipeline of homes and ADUs across California.
