To better protect your privacy, we provide this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) explaining the online information practices of Grove Ventures Capital and its affiliates (“Grove”, “we”, “our” or “us”) and the choices you can make about the way we collect and use your information.

1. Consent and Modification

By using this Site, you consent to the terms of our Privacy Policy and to Grove’s processing of Personal Information (as defined below) for the purposes set forth herein. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not use our Site. We reserve the right, at our discretion, to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, which modification will be effective 5 days following the posting of the modification to the Site, and will apply to causes of action arising after the effective date of the change. We will inform you regarding such modifications by posting such latest changes on the Site. You should continue checking the Site for changes. Your continued use of this Site 5 days following the posting of changes to this Privacy Policy, will mean you accept those changes.

2. Introduction

We recognize your need for appropriate protection and management of any Personal Information you share with us. We collect two general types of information from Site users: (1) non-personal information concerning the use of the Site and (2) personal information that identifies or can be used to identify or contact an individual. Non-Personal Information: As is the case with many Web sites, our servers automatically collect your browser type and IP address when you visit the Site.  In addition, we may use standard tracking technologies (e.g., cookies, local shared objects, and pixel tags) and website analytics tools to monitor and better understand user behavior on the Site.  Data captured may include, for example, the referring page that linked you to the Site, the country from which you are conducting your browsing session, the next Web site you visit when you leave the Site, and any search terms you have entered on the Site or a referral site. The personal information we collect is limited to information you submit to us.  For example, we may collect your e-mail address or other information you provide when you contact us through the Site.  We may also collect names, home addresses, or other types of personal information from our investors and business partners to help verify that they are authorized to access the pages of our website dedicated to them, if any such pages exist.

In these instances, we will enter into legal agreements ensuring an adequate level of data protection

Grove shall be entitled, but not obligated, to send you offers, promotions, discounts, updates, innovations, etc. (together, the “Communications”), from time to time, including by means of electronic mail or SMS messages, subject to receiving your lawful consent, including as set forth in Section 30A of the Communication Law (Broadcasts and Transmissions), 5742 – 1982. Such Communications may include services we offer or other products and services by third parties.
If you do not want to receive Communications from us, you may at any time notify us, at our contact details below or in accordance with the details appearing in the relevant Communication. It is clarified that we will be entitled to send you Communications based on the products of processing and characterizing your personal information provided by you and/or information about your activity on the Site and/or information stored in our systems, in order to offer you various products or services we believe you may be interested in.

6. The Right to Review Information

Subject to exemptions provided by law, and us receiving proof of your identification to our satisfaction, you may have the right to certain actions to your personal information such as:

  • Viewing your personal information on our systems;
  • Accessing your personal information;
  • Deleting, amending or updating any personal information relating to you which is incorrect, undated, unclear or incomplete

9. Sexual Harassment and Predatory Conduct

As party to the initiative on addressing and eradicating ‘Sexual Harassment and Predatory Conduct in Israeli Venture Capital Funds’, Grove Ventures has adopted a ‘zero-tolerance’ approach to any predatory practices by an investor against an entrepreneur seeking capital. If you believe that you have been subjected to sexual harassment, other unlawful harassment, or discrimination, or have witnessed or otherwise become aware of such an incident, and if you are comfortable doing so, you should consider making it clear to the offender that such behavior is offensive. You are not, however, required to confront the offender.
