env0 Appoints Steve Corndell as COO
env0, a leader in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) management, announced the appointment of Steve Corndell as its new Chief Operation Officer (COO). In his new role, Mr. Corndell will oversee env0’s go-to-market strategy, bolster its market position, and accelerate revenue trajectory and top-line growth.
Mr. Corndell’s appointment comes at the heels of a Series A $35 Million round, as the latest component of env0’s growth strategy that seeks to expand its footprint in the IaC market. This sector is projected to reach $2.3 Billion by 2027, showing a 24.0% Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR). In 2022, env0 achieved 450% growth, a trend continuing into 2023 with new customers including British Petroleum, Medtronic, Western Union Bank, UCLA, and more. Mr. Corndell brings more than 15 years of experience in cloud technology. In his recent role, he served as CRO at Turbonomic, a cloud performance and cost optimization company acquired by IBM for $2 Billion in 2021.
As the COO, Mr. Corndell will join the company’s executive committee, spearheading its market share expansion strategy and overseeing its sales, business development, and customer success teams, operating from recently established headquarters in Boston, MA.
At Turbonomic, Mr. Corndell successfully revamped the sales organization and orchestrated continuous revenue growth across field, inside sales, and channels. Mr. Corndell joined Turbonomic, then VMTurbo, in 2012 as Senior Channel Manager, serving as Regional VP and Senior VP of Sales before his appointment to CRO.
