OneLayer Raises $28M Series A to Transform Private 5G Networks for Enterprises
Funding will accelerate OneLayer’s global expansion and enhance security for private LTE/5G networks across critical industries.
Driving the Next Wave of Private 5G Adoption
OneLayer, the leader in private LTE/5G OT management and Zero Trust security, has announced the completion of a $28 million Series A round led by Maor Investments, with participation from McRock Capital, Chevron Technology Ventures, and existing investors Viola Ventures, Grove Ventures, and Koch Disruptive Technologies.
The oversubscribed round brings total funding to over $43 million, empowering OneLayer to accelerate go-to-market initiatives, scale globally, and expand its platform capabilities as enterprises rapidly adopt private cellular networks for mission-critical operations.
Solving a Massive Market Need
As enterprises increasingly deploy private LTE and 5G networks to support industrial automation and critical infrastructure, many struggle with device visibility, security gaps, and operational complexity.
OneLayer’s platform bridges this gap, translating cellular networks into enterprise IT language, enabling organizations to manage and secure thousands of connected devices with the same confidence they apply to traditional IT environments.
“Private 5G represents a massive opportunity, but enterprises need simple, secure solutions,” said Ido Hart, Partner at Maor Investments. “OneLayer is building the essential infrastructure layer that will make private 5G as ubiquitous as WiFi.”
Broad Industry Impact and Global Momentum
OneLayer’s technology is already deployed across key sectors, including utilities, manufacturing, mining, airports, and critical infrastructure, with notable successes such as:
- Southern Linc’s regional LTE network spanning 122,000 square miles across the U.S. Southeast.
- Evergy’s private LTE deployment, serving millions of energy customers across Kansas and Missouri.
- Major mining operations in Latin America, where OneLayer enabled secure, automated, multi-site connectivity.
“Enterprises are deploying private cellular networks at unprecedented scale, but they need unified visibility and control,” said Dave Mor, CEO and Co-Founder of OneLayer. “We’re building the bridge between cellular and IT — enabling enterprises to manage their connected devices seamlessly, securely, and at scale.”
Backed by Strategic Investors
The round attracted a strong roster of global investors, underscoring OneLayer’s central role in the industrial 5G revolution.
“Private networks are the next wave of digital transformation, but connectivity without security is a house of cards,” added Scott MacDonald, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of McRock Capital. “OneLayer provides the missing layer of trust enterprises need to adopt private 5G with confidence.”
Chevron’s Jim Gable also noted that OneLayer’s software “holds promise to improve network reliability, cost efficiency, and security” for industrial companies, aligning with Chevron’s strategy to back breakthrough technologies that enhance operational excellence.
Expanding Global Reach
With rapid growth and customers across North America, Europe, and Latin America, OneLayer is now poised to extend its footprint further, building on its expanding partnerships with Nokia, Ericsson, Digi, Cradlepoint, Palo Alto Networks, and ServiceNow, among others.
