    ActiveFence identifies and tracks harmful content online. We support technology platforms, corporate enterprises, NGOs and governments as they fight terror, hate speech, disinformation, child sexual abuse, and other malicious activities on the internet, protecting the public online and offline. Using AI-powered technology and a cross-platform approach, ActiveFence accesses and monitors hidden sources of chatter in the deep and dark web in order to counter malicious activities online. ActiveFence has become a trusted partner to a variety of organisations in the battle against bad actors across the globe.
Job Responsibilities
    Reporting to the CMO, the corporate marketing manager will be responsible for building the ActiveFence brand and supporting various marketing initiatives. We are looking for someone who will bring some marketing flair to our organization! This person will lead:
  • Brand messaging: Create, maintain, update and socialize the company messaging
    • Maintain up to date company messaging, pitch decks, about us blurbs etc.
    • Build (with dev freelancers), launch, maintain, update the company website
    • Create various marketing collateral and content such as one pagers, decks, brochures, press releases, blog posts and other materials
  • Social:
    • Develop and manage the ActiveFence online presence (including managing SEO freelancers)
    • Create a social following
  • PR – manage PR activities (possibly with an agency)
  • Design/ Creative – manage freelancers or full time employees
  • Event marketing (virtual in COVID era) – create events that drive engagement among our customers and prospects
  • Growing various brand performance metrics
  • Creation of inbound lead generation through various on site and online tactics and campaigns
  • Ad hoc marketing tasks
    • Various writing tasks to ensure that all written company materials have appropriate branding, tone, feel
    • Interface with admin/ HR and other company functions to ensure that brand is reflected in any internal and external activities
  • Working closely with content & product marketing managers, managing editor, and others to achieve broad marketing goals
    This position is ideal for someone who has a proven track record across a variety of corporate marketing skill sets. While initially an individual contributor position that manages various freelance functions, there is room to grow as the company grows.
Skills and qualifications
  • At least 5 years B2B marketing experiences with hands on experience in most or all of the following:
    • Website development/ launch
    • PR
    • Social media marketing
    • Events
    • Branding/ creative/ design
    • Inbound lead generation
  • Native English speaker – must
  • Excellent communication, storytelling & writing skills
  • Experience working at or with global enterprises
  • Organized, motivated, great at cross-functional work
  • Experience in OSINT, cyber, counter-terror, counter-disinfo, online marketing. ad tech – huge plus
